As you browse the web, Lion detects explicit websites or images and adds them to a securely stored log on your device. This log is then sent to your chosen partner on a weekly basis, enabling them to help you stay accountable and improve your browsing habits.
In addition to accountability features, Lion Browser offers Parental Controls that allow partners or parents to block explicit websites and any other websites they deem necessary. They can also enable daily or weekly history logs, providing them with a comprehensive view of your browsing activity.
Privacy is a top priority for Lion. The browser never stores website logs on their servers; instead, everything is stored locally on your device and can only be viewed by your chosen partners.
For existing Lion Browser users, there have been significant improvements. The new version utilizes AI and Machine Learning for more accurate detection of explicit content. The browser has been rebuilt using Swift, resulting in improved overall performance. The tab system has also been revamped to provide a more familiar browsing experience. Additionally, users can now sync their bookmarks to the cloud, ensuring access to bookmarks across devices.
